The boys had their two month check up yesterday. Max is now 21.5 inches, weighs 9 pounds 9 ounces and has a head that measures 38 cm. Zander stands at 21.5 inches, weighs 9 pounds, 10 ounces and has a head that measures 39 cm. As a precautionary measure the doctor suggested we get ultrasounds on the boys renal systems to make sure they don't have the kidney issues that we found in their sister. Also, the doctor found a heart murmur in Zander. This can be common among infants and the small holes can close up as the children get older. To make sure everythihng is okay, we will visit Dr. Rugiere (who we saw with Ellie two years ago) on January 20th. We are anxious to find out the extent of this condition. Please keep both boys (and their adorable sister)in your thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks.
