Another Great Weekend....

We were extremely fortunate this July 4th weekend: some friends had rented a USFS cabin in the Absaroka Mountains (north of Yellowstone). When they discovered they had to be in Wichita (of all places) they offered it to us. We gladly accepted and took Ellie on her first "camping" trip -- if sleeping in a cabin can be considered "camping."

On Saturday, we hiked to Passage Creek Falls:




The return trip required a detour with a short rappel because a bridge was out:



All-in-all, it was a great way to spend Ellie's first Fourth of July.
